The teams for the Ball Hockey World Cup have been announced. In addition to hosts Switzerland and defending champions Canada, 14 other nations will be competing for the men's World Cup title.

A total of 16 men's and 7 women's teams will be playing in Upper Valais from June 21 to 29, 2024. The matches will be played in an A and a B pool in the Raiffeisen Arena in Raron and the Lonza Arena in Visp, each between 9.00 and 22.00. The detailed match schedule will be drawn up in the coming weeks.

Ball Hockey World Cup Fan Village and European Championship Football Public Viewing

In addition to the 700 or so players, the organizers are also expecting their families, friends and fans. A central meeting point will be the fan village, which will be set up on the south side of the Lonza Arena. As the European Football Championship will also be taking place between June 14 and July 14, the Fan Village will be extended to include a public viewing area for the football matches and will be open from June 14.

Public transport is recommended for the journey. A partner, Regionalps, has been secured to take care of transportation for the players.
