World champions get off to a successful start

The defending world champions from Canada beat the United Nations 5:0 in their opening game.

Helena Gebrayel in the United Nations goal could not complain about a lack of work tonight. The Canadians fired no fewer than 60 shots at her goal, of which she saved an incredible 55 attempts.

The domination of the Canadians is emphasised by the fact that the United Nations only managed two shots on goal in return. The North Americans' victory could well have been even greater.
